As a current upper-level Spanish teacher myself, I understand that finding an effective Spanish curriculum that works is not easy! I have spent years searching for the right resources for my students. I’d dedicate countless hours to finding the perfect units or lesson plans for my students….only to feel discouraged.
That is why I made the JUNTOS Curriculum.
I have been using JUNTOS in my upper-level Spanish 3, Spanish 4(dual-enrolled with our college program), and Spanish 5 classes for the past two years. And now, I am so excited to share it with YOU!

The full JUNTOS Curriculum spans across 10 units designed to support your students in communicating effectively in Spanish. Each unit includes no-prep lesson plans that you can easily implement starting on day one!
I’ve seen online that one of the most dreaded tasks for world language teachers is to create and display Can-Do statements. With JUNTOS, you can say goodbye to this task!
Essential questions and "Can-Do" statements are provided for each lesson. This provides clear objectives and helps students understand what they are expected to achieve. (And not to mention, one less thing for you to worry about!) A complete vocabulary list is also included in each unit.
At the start of each unit, you’ll begin with a unit hook that draws students in to spark their interest! You’ll even find personalized discussion prompts that promote MEANINGFUL and RELEVANT communication. The curriculum also incorporates various authentic resources in Spanish in each unit, offering students exposure to real-world language use.
Finding differentiated resources and lessons in a packaged curriculum is difficult! But with JUNTOS, this is at the front of our curriculum design! Not every learner in your Spanish classes is at the same proficiency level. You may even have multiple classes in one section!
That is why JUNTOS supports learners AND teachers with differentiated lessons and resources. The curriculum provides clear ways to differentiate learning. Within this, you’ll even find differentiated texts within each unit to meet the needs of the various proficiency levels in your classrooms. This ensures that all students can engage and communicate with the target language!

The JUNTOS Curriculum has MANY fun games and meaningful activities to keep students engaged and motivated! Your students will be interested and excited about learning Spanish! We know that motivation and personal interest are the key driving factors in language acquisition. With various games and activities to choose from, your students will be acquiring Spanish without even noticing! JUNTOS is based on student-centered lessons and activities to ensure that learning is focused on the needs and interests of the students.
Of course, at the end of each unit, you will find final assessment options and a rubric that will allow you to evaluate student progress effectively.
